A diary written after leaving Europe and entering Asia

At Paris/

The RER and Roissy during the peak hours was really crowded and horrible! Everyone should go out one hour earlier and watch out its time.

The staff of Singapore Airlines at Roissy is a nice lady, she allowed me to check-in my back bag and those 2 luggages weighted 38.7kg, though she looked like a little bit regretted when she saw the scale XD Finally I took out my laptop and she let thempassed with 35.7kg, I may be the man with heaviest luggage ever!
After check-in I felt relaxed, maybe that’s because I’m going home soon. Although I think I will begin to miss the life here; whatever, let it be something need to be worried in the future! Maybe I will come back soon…

At Singapore/

It spent 12 hours flew from Paris to Singapore, I watched 4 movies, had 2 meals, few cups of drinks and a bag of chips, plus not much sleeping. After landing, I found the world suddenly changed from a French-speaking world to a Chinese society! A little bit don’t get used to it, just because I had left it and now I’m thousands of miles away from it. It’s strange, right?
From the departure to the first night at Singapore, I haven’t slept on bed for 35 hours! I think I have a strong adaptability of time zone and I just spent one day to adjust my biological clock!

The dialect, the way people speak English and Chinese is so different. So it is called Singlish and Singapore Chinese… sometimes I need to listen several times to understand what they want to say :P
The humid and hot weather makes me miss Taiwan, everything here is just like Taipei, the food, the climate and the MRT system, some of them are really similar! However the English-speaking environment and about 10% composition of population attributed to foreigners somewhat confused me that I thought I was in Europe! The first meal I had here is Ding Tai Feng! A famous and entitled with one-star Michelin Taiwanese restaurant, when I saw there signboard I ran into the restaurant immediately! But, I think the Taipei branch is always the best.

Tomorrow I’m going back to Taiwan! Miss you already……
Byebye, Singapore :)
